Easter

Sorry, it has taken me a while to get caught up...Finally the Easter post.

Sunday morning the kids were excited to get up and see that the Easter bunny had found them at Papa's.


Some how the Easter Bunny knew that we were traveling and got both of the kids travel pillows to put around their necks when they got tired!!! These came in real handy on the way home.

And Papa and Lois got them huge Easter baskets too


After we opened Easter baskets, everyone got ready and we headed to Cracker Barrel for breakfast, and then back to Dad's.

We drove past the movie theatre on the way back and decided that we would come back in an hour to see Horton hears a Who, it was a really cute movie. And we found out just how much Braxton likes popcorn, between him and Papa, they ate a large bucket full!!!!

After the movie was over, we went about 10 minutes from the theatre to get a glimpse of Taylor Swifts house....she is Gracie's fave!!! Gracie was hoping that maybe Taylor would be out hunting for Easter eggs...but no such luck!!!!

We went back to Dads and decided to do an Easter egg hunt of our own...the kids loved it. It was a little chilly out, so we didn't stay out long.



That night we decided to go to a local restaurant for dinner called Demo's. If you ever get the chance to go there....you should!!! Great food, and great service.
After that, we pretty much just relaxed....

This was pretty much Gracie's favorite spot with Papa...as long as he was rubbing her back!!! She loves to have her back rubbed.

Braxton liked hangin out with Papa too....he isn't so much into the back rubs.

Vacation is almost over, and it will be back to work on Wednesday.
On our way home we stopped in Metropolis Illinois (same place we stopped on the way down, when we had our first tire problem). Metropolis Illinois is the home to SUPERMAN!!! And for those of you that know Mike well, he does sometimes think that he is Superman..so he felt at home there.

You can't tell, but this is a souvenir shop....I have never seen so much Superman stuff....it was crazy.
